Psychology is a science that studies human mind and its functioning. Through psychotherapy we work on the thinking pattern of individuals.

By mounding the distortions in the cognitions of the individuals we can refine their emotions and behaviors.

I work in collaboration with Dr Vineet Sehgal at his clinic. Here under the branch of psychology we deal depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder schizophrenia, psychosis, phobias, borderline personality disorder and many other mental illnesses.

We provide Cognitive behaviour therapy, Rational Emotive Behaviour therapy,  Motivational interviewing, Insight orientation, Marital & family counselling, Child adolescent counselling.

Dr. Lucky Bhalla Sehgal

Dr. Mrs. Lucky Bhalla Sehgal is a renowned Pediatrician and Neonatologist of Amritsar. She did her MBBS from Manipal University in the year 2005. She was a distinction holder in MBBS. She persued her MD Pediatrics from Maharastra university of health sciences in the year 2007-2010. Later she did her Fellowship in Neonatology from Govt Medical College Sector 32 Chandigarh in the year 2011. She had successfully managed extremely premature infant as early as 23 weeks gestation (500 gms) and full term infants with a variety of medical and surgical illness. She was the topper in her MD and Fellowship Examination among all students in her college. She has participated enthusiastically in all social projects like the School Heath programmes, rural health camps, Government initiated programs like the pulse polio immunization campaign, Breast feeding awareness camps and the health checkup clinics for visually challenged children and children from broken homes.

Dr Lucky was appointed as specialized medical officer in Sick Newborn Care Unit in year 2012-2013 in Civil Hospital Amritsar. Dr Lucky is presently working as a consultant Pediatrician in Fortis Escort hospital Amritsar since 2013. She has started the neonatal intensive Care Unit. She is well versed in doing neonatal resuscitation, intubation, high frequency ventilation, giving surfactant therapy, managing very low and extremely low weight birth babies, difficult venous access, inserting central venous and arterial catheters PICC, chest tube insertion, exchange transfusion, bedside EEG monitoring, therapeutic hypothermia etc. She is well trained in managing acute neonatal emergencies. She is trained in transportation of sick babies by road/ air ambulance. She has vast experience in the field of paediatrics. She has completed the training on SOS (Survival of Sickest) HOPE (Handling Office in Pediatric Emergencies)

Dr. Vineet Sehgal

Dr. Vineet has done his MBBS & MD (Internal Medicine) from Govt.  Medical College, Patiala. During his MBBS Days, he received numerous honours and awards. He was a gold medallist in MD (Medicine) examination. He stood first in the order of merit in MD (Medicine) examination from Baba Farid  University  of  Health Sciences. He has done his super specialization in neurology from prestigious institute PGI Chandigarh after securing first rank in All India DM Neurology entrance examination.

His accurate approach with only relevant investigations performed has benefitted numerous patients, ensuring better long  term management. His compassionate nature and behaviour helps to allay the anxiety  in patients with long standing diseases.

Dr. Vineet Sehgal  has  various publications in National and International  journals. He has presented  papers and posters in many national  conferences. His poster presentation on Epilepsy was awarded  as first prize in National Neurology conference  IANCON 2014. He is regularly invited as a speaker in various national conferences. In addition, he is actively involved  in public  awareness  programmes to spread  knowledge  about Neurological  disorders. He is frequently  heard on radio or seen on TV speaking  about  neurological  conditions. Dr. Vineet  Sehgal  has passion  for teaching and also actively  conducts teaching courses  for practising  physician and general  practitioners. He is the author of various chapters in Neurology textbooks.

Dr. Vineet   Sehgal is also running  specialized and dedicated clinics for Headache, Epilepsy, Stroke and Movement disorders patients. He was the pioneer in starting STROKE HELPLINE in Fortis Escorts Amritsar.
